How Front Yard Fairways handles your data.
Plain English, no legalese. Here is exactly what the directory collects, what it doesn't, and how to reach us if you have a question.
What we collect
- A first-party anonymous id, stored in your browser's localStorage— not a cookie, not shared cross-site, and not passed to any third party.
- Page and action events: which venue you viewed, which action you clicked, and search terms you enter. These are sent first-party to FYF so we can see which venues and areas have demand.
- Outbound-link tagging: when you click through to a venue's own website, we add
utm_source=directoryto the link so that venue can see FYF referred the visit. This is standard referral attribution, not tracking of you once you leave our site. - Your email, only if you explicitly opt in — for example by following a venue or reserving a pilot-night spot. We never collect email without your action and consent.
What we don't do
- No third-party trackers or ad-network pixels.
- No selling or renting your data.
- No personal information collected without your explicit opt-in.
- No cross-site cookies following you around the web.
How email consent works
When you follow a venue or reserve a pilot-night spot, you'll see clear consent copy before you submit your email. We store that consent along with a timestamp and the source (which action you took). You can ask us to remove your email at any time — see contact below.
